3 Tracks (14.11.08)

First I'd like to apologize for not posting anything almost for a month, but we have all been very busy and didn't have much time for the blog. Not to waste time anymore, here we go again with fresh tracks. :D

1. Blackwatch & Greed - Gentle Rain (Glenn Morrison & Arnej Remix)
Fantastic remix by two young producers, Glenn Morrison and Arnej. Morrison's career has been going up since he's released Contact last year in cooperation with Deadmau5, while Arnej Secerkadic (he comes from Bosnia :D) was already established in a trance world under his alias 8 Wonders. Gentle Rain is a quality progressive house track with nice tribal feel to it and dreamy vocals, definitely recommend it. ;)

2. Inaya Day - You (D.O.N.S. Remix)
We just can't get enough of D.O.N.S., can't we? :D Another great remix by this duo, worth listening.

3. Lex Da Funk - Fuck Me (DJ Exodus & Jared D Remix)
Ok, the title and the "lyrics" of this one may seem like a cliche, but actually it's a decent house piece :D

3 Tracks (16.10.08)

1. Praia Del Sol and Dani L Mebius - Private Pool Project (DJ Jeroenski Remix)

Totally wicked tune, the original mix is a nice summer tune, but all the remixes are awesome, especially Jeroenski and Nicky Romero Remix. Jeroenski Remix is my favorite from this release, features nice guitar sample (very, very similar to the one from Keep On Rising by Ian Carey feat. Michelle Shellers). Also check out the Original Mix and Dani L Mebius Remix.

2. Stockholm Syndrome - Make You Whole (TV Rock Mix)

Quality progressive house tune, excellent job by TV Rock, vocals are pretty good. ;)

3. Baggi Begovic & Groovenatics - Message (Original Mix)

Great new track by the most famous Bosnian in house music, Baggi Begovic :D
Message is a big room tech house piece, while DJ Wady Remix is a bit more progressive.

*Check out Radio Slave in this pic, on some crazy gig in Japan :D

3 Tracks (14.10.08)

1. Paolo Aliberti - Biosfera (Outwork Mix)

I heard this track first time at Outwork's performance 10 days ago here in Sarajevo, Dom mladih, and I liked the track first time I heard it, although I must admit I didn't know at the time which song was it. Original mix is a huge progressive house track (I recommend it definitely), but Outwork's remix gives it a bit more club feeling. Also check out Next Day Vocal Mix. ;)

2. Mark Knight and Funkagenda - Man with the Red Face (Jack De Molay the President Remix)

This classic (originally produced by Laurent Garnier) was reborn on last Winter Music Conference (WMC), when it was presented by M. Knight and Funkagenda (two of my favorites :D). I remember the hype before the track was released, everyone was talking about it. Few months later, we got a very nice pack of remixes, and I have to admit, I like most of them better then the original by Knight & Funkagenda. :D

All remixes offer something different, but I think that Jack De Molay's remix is a total twist of the original mix, probably the best remix in this pack.
The remix begins very slowly, building up with vocals and that well-known sax sample and then after the short breakdown drastically changes into tech house killer.

For the full pack, click here.

3. Dolce & Alex Muller - When The Beat Goes (Carlos Barbosa Remix)

Some may say this one is nothing special, even a bit boring, and I have to agree, but the vocals are crazy, gotta love the track, so give it a try. ;)
Also check out Morinho Remix and Original Mix.

3 Tracks (11.10.08)

1. Kraze feat. Peter Presta - Make This Party Jump (Ruben Alvarez Remix)
Very nice club house track, catchy piano melody and subtle vocals, give it a shoot. ;)

2. Karanyi & Judie Jay - Libido (Dave Ramone & Thomas Gold Remix)
Again one good remix by Gold (the man is rocking lately), nice guitar sample, but unfortunately it doesn't differ much from other "hits" lately, nothing groundbraking, it may sound like you have heard it somewhere before. On the other hand, it should work for a short period of time :D

3. Jax N F - Sunshine (Jerry Ropero Remix)
Jerry Ropero is not one of my favorite producers, but he had some tracks that I liked. What I like about this one is nice melody in the breakdown. Just to warn you, vocals are really lame... "Can you feeeel it? Feel the sunrise!" :s

3 Tracks (08.10.08)

1. Sherrita - I Will Survive (Fancy Clothes Mix)

Probably the song that got the most covers, mixes and different versions in the last 30 years (yeah, it is that old, originally performed by Gloria Gaynor in 1978.) gets this fantastic treatment by Fancy Clothes, performed by Sherrita. Some may say it's just a regular club piece, but vocals are perfectly layered over heavy beats... "I will survive" strikes again! :D

2. Djuma Soundsystem & Flip - Jaded (Original Mix)

Guys from Djuma Soundsystem (creators of legendary Les Djinns) in cooperation with Flip made a new tech house killer, a track called Jaded. Believe me, this one will make you bouncing of the walls :D

Also check out the Atilla EP with both tracks. ;)

3. Gabriel Ananda - Babypunk (Original Mix)

I heard this one few days ago, and I have to admit I just can't get enough of this tune :D
The EP is called "Coconut Blues", and I think there isn't a better name to describe this release. Just listening to this one makes you think about enjoying hot summer day somewhere on a beatiful beach while enjoying coctails with Hawaii girls :D

Also check out the full release, with Coconut Blues.

P.S. Check out the photo of girls from Pacha Ibiza, in our language we call girls like these "KALASTURE"... or as same as BIMBO in English :D

3 Tracks (26.09.08)

1. Late Night Alumni - Another Chance (Kaskade's Homage to Roger Remix)
Wonderful progressive house, I guess this one is going to be huge, maybe even as big as Empty Streets (Haji & Emanuel Remix). Soft, dreamy vocals and piano melody to remember, definitely a huge track, can't wait for other remixes.

2. 2 Tyme Feat. Jennifer Jones - Missing You (Thomas Gold Remix)
Some may say a track for girls, but I say one of the best remixes Gold did. Very nice, melancholic lyrics and clear vocals combined with uplifting beats from Gold and you have one of best tracks this month. Enjoy! :)

3. Shakedown - At Night (Seamus Haji Remix)
Crazy remix by Haji, awesome intro, totally smashes the dancefloor! :D

3 Tracks (24.09.08)

1. Reel 2 Real - I Like 2 Move It (D.O.N.S & DBN Remix)
Remember Madagascar? Of course you do :D
D.O.N.S. & DBN boys actually managed to do something with that silly vocal, so we got a decent club piece. :D

2. Deadmau5 vs Sebastien Lintz - Batacha (Original Mix)
I was never a Deadmau5 fan and I think he is way too overrated, but this track is a nice progressive piece, probably one of his best tracks lately.

3. Spooky - Candy (James Zabiela Remix)
Massive remix by young James Zabiela.

3 Tracks (21.09.08)

1. GreenPower feat. Ely Morelli - What Is Love (Toni Lewis & Alex Much Dub Mix)

Remember that classic "What is love, baby don't hurt me, don't hurt me no more"? :D
What I remember the most is a fantastic melody, no matter how lyrics were cheesy. Today we got a rework from GreenPower with Ely Morelli on vocals. It's a nice progressive work with huge pumping beats, but again I got this feeling that something is missing. The song builds progressively from the beginning, but again it never gets a proper breakdown, so you got that strange feeling that it never ends. Also the vocals are cut, so all you get is that repetitive "What is loveeeee!!!" without the rest of the lyrics. Things would be much better if the breakdown was longer with full chorus, but again this is the best mix on this release, so give it a try. ;)

2. Soul Central feat. Abigail Bailey - Time After Time (Tommy Trash Club Mix)

Last year, Time After Time was one of my favorites from Defected Records, beautiful deep house, melodic, groovy tune with one of the best vocals and lyrics last year.
Few days ago it got a fantastic rework from Tommy Trash, who made it even a better track, in my opinion one of the best progressive tracks lately. Tommy nicely cuts the vocals and melody from the original and builds the atmosphere through the whole song, turning its second part into dancefloor monster.

3. Austin Leeds ft. Nick Terranova - This is What U Need (Saeed Younan Remix)
Again nice work from Saeed, turning Starkillers original mix into killer club tune.

3 Tracks (16.09.08)

1. Roger Sanchez - Again (Saeed Younan's Unreleased Edit)
Here we go again!!! :D
No need to explain anything, you all heard Again before, and now it gets a huge treatment by Saeed Younan, killer club tune ;)
(P.S. Evo Peste, pobij raju s ovim :D)

2. City Life feat. DD - San Francisco (D.O.N.S. vs. DBN Remix)
"I lost my soul in San Francisco... bla bla...", nice house track :)

3. Mark Knight & Funkagenda vs. Paul Thomas - Arena (Festival Mix)
And something different from two of my favorite producers (Knight & Funkagenda), huge tech house, gonna be a common festival track as this mix name suggests ;)

3 Tracks (12.09.08)

1. Jonas Steur feat. Julie Thompson - Cold Winds (Original Mix)
A bit of trance for today, a really nice summer tune from Jonas Steur (aka Estuera). Heard this first time this summer two months ago when Tiesto played it on Papaya Moto Music Fest and blowed the crowd. :D
Still my favorite from Steur is Fall To Pieces featuring Jennifer Rene on vocals, wonderful track. ;)

2. Jürgen Paape feat. Alison Degbe - Come Into My Life
Relased on Kompakt Total 9 (celebration of 15 years of this fantastic label :D) at the end of August, another killer by Paape. I still remember "Take That" from last year, I hope you all know which track I'm talking about :D

Download full Kompakt Total 9 as well, you won't regret it. ;)
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Part 4

3. John Revox vs. Enur - Ole Calabria (Ceeril Klein Bootleg Mix)
This one goes specially for Pest Jay, should fit his sets, but should work with the crowd as well, definitely the best mash up of Calabria till now. :D

3 Tracks (10.09.2008)

1. DJ Tatana - Spring Breeze (Martin Roth Summerstyle Remix)
For today we got a new tune from Tatana, the queen of trance if I might say so :D
Very melodic, progressive track, spiced with effects and some birds singing, true summerstyle as the name suggests, indeed a fantastic remix by Martin Roth. ;)
(If you want both the original and remix, then click here)

2. Solomun - Don't Cry (Original Mix)
Don't Cry, from Solomun's latest release called Black Label 36, is a fine piece of minimalistic track, got a pretty slow build up followed by claps, but works fine on the floor.
Just to mention that Solomun is actually an artist born in Bosnia (our country :D), but has worked for many years as a resident DJ and a producer in Hamburg. Keep an eye on his following releases. ;)

More info about Mladen Solomun

(For a full relase of Black Label 36, containing Don't Cry, The Way Back and Somebody's Story, click here)

3. Flash Republic - Star (Thomas Gold Dub)
Heard this one on the latest Nocturnal show (Matt Darey's Nocturnal 161 with Tocadisco). Huge electro house track, a dancefloor killer :D

3 Tracks (08.09.2008)

Ok, this is a new idea that just crossed my mind. From now on, every couple of days I'm going to recommend you a 3 tracks that grabbed my attention lately, and if I have enough time, I'll give a short description too. ;)

So here we go with the first 3 tracks :D

1. Muzzaik - The Call (Original Mix)
Another tech house killer straight from Hungary's best duo, Muzzaik. Be sure to check out other remixes (click to download) as well, The Call (3D Mix) - tribal tuning with progressive taste (my favorite), then Jordan Miller Remix, nice house tune and Pete Houle Remix, breaks mix.

2. Tony Moran - Universo Alegria (Mauro Mozart Intro Mix)
Great intro tune, nice progressive feel to it with catchy vocals, excellent drums. ;)

3. Lustral - Everytime (Glenn Morrison & Bruce Aisher Mix)
Just like in those old days, very deep, driving track with dreamy vocal and lyrics, has a great breakdown with nice melody, good treatment of a classic from Morrison and Aisher, 9/10. ;)
